The BBQ with my friends turn out fine. Although in the wee hours of the morning it rained heavily, and actually flooded our tent, it was overall rather exciting. Like Wan said, its an adventure. Although I think its a bit of a catastrophe due the rain. It even almost blew the top of the tent off. And its kinda uncomfortable cos you're squeezing in with everyone else who's trying to find a nice spot which is dry. But all of us are drenched anyway.
Cold and hungry and shivering and bored, I switched to hibernate mode while my other friends who wasn't sleeping, set up the fire again when the rain had stopped.
Today, the director of my course came and have a talk with my classmates. Which is kinda dull la. But I was more concern about the IA(industrial attachment) placements, we will be separate out to different companies in Singapore, some will be overseas attachment, others, poly( lab technician/assistant + take up a module in poly) and top sec schs(as a lab technician/assistant), then there will be some remaining at sch to do in-house projects or i guess do the attachment in sch. It scares me a bit cos the IA experience is important. I don't want to be stuck in school and spending my 4 months there. But I guess that will be my fate cos I'm a perpetual latecomer and skip my lessons most of the time. I think I need to discipline myself. My gpa is not looking good. I'll die if i don't land myself in poly.
I swear to:*be punctual*attend all my classes*wake up earlyp.s this will take effect on 7/5 (hopefully!)~lydia~
